Between 1999 and 2004 I built a number of applications that powered the automation of  DNA profiling at the Forensic Science Service. AppOpen was built and introduced to simplify the scale of applications an operator would need to learn.

The Application also logged all actions and included a number of other features like sending IMs between robot systems and switching the entire system from production into training mode.
