Between 1999 and 2004 I built a number of applications that powered the automation of DNA profiling at the Forensic Science Service. The Calibration software controlled the robot and read the outputs of a control device to help the user asses the suitability of the system to profile DNA.
While the process and controls of the system were complex, this software managed the process and presented the results in a easy to read interface.
