This was a great example of a project to migrate onto new platform and then enhance through continuous improvement.

First we moved it from ASP.Net and into Kentico, with a Custom CX.  We then worked for 12 months to add customer enhancements.  These included online checkin and drinks packages.   Other new features are lined up, I hope P&O are able to deliver these in 2016.


Rome wasn't built in a day!  I live by this, get the MVP down and then enhance.

I've watched the progress of the solution since I left in 2015, and one lesson I've learned is top stay customer focused.  I'm sorry to say this solution took a different direction, and the goal seemed to be technical and was to align it with the other websites on Sitecore.  Not a bad objective, but with what benefit to customers?  In my view the effort would have been better served adding the features on our 2015 roadmap, like dinning bookings for instance.
