I work in an organisation that has many brands and I manage many of the online tools for both consumers and trade. There is one project where I was able to to properly leverage my knowledge and experience in data and BI and this was when all brands wanted to expose our partners performance in a suite of online reports and a dashboard.
With SQL Server 2012 running the data and SSRS reports exposed in the application this site is actually 90% SQL Server and 10% .net. It took around 6 weeks to build and was an unprecedented success in the trade.
