Here are my 5 favourite projects I’ve delivered. Thanks to everyone who helped me.
The team in the serious sexual crimes unit needed a system to store and report on the processing of crime samples as they were processed at pace through a new unit that aimed to get results to investigators in under 24 hours.
While it was fantastic to deliver a customer solution long overdue, this is one of my favourites because of the systems it hooks up to in the background. Authentication was a different system to cruise details, which was distinct from booking information. It was the middleware I’d developed from the business case that made this project possible.
Similar to the cruise solution in its complexity, the simplified dashboards for the users at the university are built on years of work developing data and analytics solutions in the background. Adding to this solution the personas concept, so a professor had a different perspective from a finance manager, and this is a top solution.
2020 - Useful tools to bring customers into our ecosystem.
The delivery of this solution is only half the story. It overachieved and, still years late,r is reducing the need to spend on Google while providing a set of tools for Australians. The real achievement with this was the team that I had built with it, this photo was me on holiday while the team self-managed and released this update.
2024 - Incorporating a programme's teams into a PI event
Years in the making for me. I’d always worked across projects and set up a few PI events, and so when it came to setting this one up from scratch, I knew what was needed and how to draw critical people in at the right time with minimal disruptions.
